This traditional Chinese pillow box has a soft leather lid, it was used by travelers centuries ago to guard their money and jewels during the night, they would place the box under their heads when resting, hands their name. Our leather and wood pillow boxes are handcrafted and dyed in deep red, green and black. Since these boxes are handmade, and the dyes are made of natural pigments you won't find two of the exact same colour.
