Loading... Please wait...This lovely carved mask combines human and animal elements. It comes from the Dgimin people. Though being heavily influenced by the neighboring Senufo in their art, the Dgimini people of the Ivory Coast have incorporated these influences into their own identifiable style, adding the use of colours at times. The scarification marks on the face are aslo typical of the Dgimini tribe. Circa 1940.
